Hi guys,

I am new to the forum but I have been reading the forum and website articles for a while. It is just that I know so little about hardware... I guess when you have nothing to contribute to the conversation you should just listen

I have a quick question that I am pretty sure it will be easy for you guys to answer. I have a few spare parts here and would like to put together a "Frankenstein":

- 2Gb Kingston RAM DDR400
- ATI Radeon X850XT Platinum Edition AGP
- Western Digital 250Gb WB2500KS (SATA)
- Intel Core Duo 2 E6600

Now the question is: which motherboard do you suggest I use? The only suggestion I have found so far and that can hold all these parts is the ASRock 775i65G rev. 2.0 but a friend of mine said he will kill me if I buy an ASRock 8O Can anyone suggested another?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Memory and Video card are garbage.

DDR isnt supported, and AGP isnt available on any Core2Duo mobos. And if it is, then you dont want it.

I suggest the Gigabyte DS3, with some 800mhz DDR2, from the DS3 list of compatable memory.
