Hi, I just recently built a new gaming computer. I hooked everything up and when I turned it on the cpu fan went on, the case fans went on, and so did the all the lights on the motherboard. Also the dvd drive works you can open it and close it, but when I plug my monitor into the graphics card it won't display anything.

My specs are:
cpu: Q6600
power supply: 500 watts
video card: bfg 8800 gts oc
Motherboard: nvidia 750i
case: Apevia X-Jupiter G Type ATX
drives: dvd rewriteable
I do also have 4 gigs of ram because I am hoping to run windows vista ultimate 64 bit

Yes, I did make sure that the monitor worked. I hooked it up to another computer that I have and it works, so it is not the monitor that is the problem. I wasn't too sure though if it could be the power supply thats not working right. Maybe it is not giving enough power to everything to make it display. The fan on the video card does turn on and so I have no clue.

Any help would be great.

Thanks Cody
