Recommended Opitical drives and Lcd Monitor?

I've researched Newegg and was wondering if you could recommend some optical drives and a lcd monitor? I would like a drive that's black, reliable, fast and quiet (If possible).
I would like a monitor that has a dvi port. This monitor is what I have in mind so far.

ASUS makes a fine DVD/ROM and the burners are kinda based on "you get what you pay for", plextor is the best but overkill for most of us unless your big into vieo production and such.
I chose a "MADDOG MULTIMEDIA" CD/DVD/RW unit and it works fine, but mainly because it matches my nickname.
