here is my opinion of your build:
i would go for the Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 mobo, it's a bit more expensive but is has more and better features and will also overclock higher
if your budget is low, you might want to drop your processor to a e6400 and overclock it. this will allow you to buy a better 3dcard like a x1900xt from sapphire or, when they are available, a x1950xt
don't buy hitachi. for 2 maybe 3 bucks more, you can buy a 320gb 7200.10 drive from seagate. they perform better and your warranty is five years.
try to find a better PSU because i don't know if trust makes good PSU's
Hiper has a good PSU of 580 watt, but is costs 100$ :?
do you have a budget? would be nice if i knew that 8)
Hi, thank you for your opinion . This is my situation :? :
I'm not planning to overclock so I'm not really interested in OC features, that is why I chose the E6600.
I'd go for the Asus because of a firewire and an e-sata port.
Unfortunately I have already bought the 7600GT and there is nothing i can do about it. I wanted to go for a multi GPU system but I've read there are better options for less but it was too late. I think I will upgrade in 1 year time to a vista ready card dx10 or something like that.
As for the HDD I couldn't find any review of the 320GB Seagate. Can you post a link? I 've heard nice words about the Hitachi but yeah the Seagate warranty is tempting.
The PSU was recommended by a friend who sells PCs plus I don't think I can get the brand Hiper here in Slovakia. And $100 for a PSU is a bit too expensive at least for me.
What do You think of the Ram?
My budget is aproximately $1440 not counting the 7600GT I already have.
if you don't want to overclock, stick with the e6600
and the ram will be fine. try to downclock it to 533mhz. it usually performs better than 667.
here is a link to a comparison of the seagate against a WD caviar

The review looks good for the Seagate but I have read this discussion
http://forums.storagereview.net/in [...] opic=22660 at StorageReview.com and a lot of people seem to be unhappy with the Seagate. I haven't seen any user reviews on the Hitachi but it looks like the performance is a bit lower than the Seagates but it is cooler and quiter.
You know what I'll check the prices and then decide wich one I take.
I think I wouldn't mind the more noisy Seagate but it is its operating temprature which makes me concerned. I am affraid of the high temperature levels because I'm not planning to add any case fans and the case itself is going to be a budget one. So I'm affraid of system overheating problems or is the HDD temperature not that significant in the whole system temperature.
