I have been given an S6E scanner but unfortunately no documentation. I have
tried the umax sites (.co.uk and .com) and neither seem to have any
information on this scanner.
At the moment I cannot get my computer to recognise it. It is connected via
an Adaptec PCI SCSI card AVA-2903b on a machine running MandrakeLinux 10.0.
The scanner is supported by the SANE software.
My first priority is to find some documentation. Can anyone suggest a site
for downloading user guide/manual/specification sheets or alternatively
does anyone have any available?
Second priority is to get it working. Any suggestions welcomed.

Cheers,
Mike Davies
