Pentium D945 OC to 4.150Ghz(245FSB) without V core change..
After that i to try to increase FSB up to 250.. v core change needed
i try 1.45 But cpu failed to boot...1.465v is the solution.then i try 255 FSB..
same prob.CPU failed and i set v core to 1.475.CPU load and pass da Dual Prime 95 test about 5h .
My load temp hit 66C(Intel rec temp is 63.4C)
I use ThrottleWatch. I didn't see any throttling. My Question is,,,,

What do you guys think abt my temp ?

Why processor need v core increase every time?
(Every +5 FSB need v core increasing)

Is this normal for the Pentium D 945????

What is the max i can go with air?
(My room temp is 28-30 has no AC in sri lanka)

Put it to 4.0 or 4.1GHz, leave vcore at stock. The overclocks above that aren't worth the added vcore. Leaving it at 4.0-4.1GHz lets it run cooler, consume less power, and will be more likely to stay stable when it gets hot outside.
