3com Officeconnect port opening problems.

I have a OfficeConnect Wireless 11g Cable/DSL Gateway
, and i've read the guide on this site about this router, but i can't seem to manage to open the ports i need for battle.net (a game service). I used special applications, i made my pc a dmz host and i forwarded the appropriate ports to my computer. But somehow it isnt working and i don't know why.

Does anyone have this router too? and do you also experience problems opening ports? the interface looks quite chaotic without a clear Nat table. Or could it be something else? the computers are attached to a hub, which is attached to the router. Could the hub have any influence in blocking ports (sounds really unlikely), or do i have to change something in the modem?

I'm totally not experienced with routers as you might have noticed, and i really hope someone might have a clue about what to open for battle.net. i guess quite some people use this service too, so maybe someone could use the help at distance service of winxp to configure those few ports for me. i would really be gratefull. Or if someone tells me about what to do.

Does the router not have a section in its interface for incoming port info?

I'd check its manual first, read it through for anything to do with opening specific ports, rather than putting your PC in the DMZ.

EDIT: Btw, are you using Windows XP w/ a software firewall?
