HELP
I purchased an LS-30 scanner for 35 mm film with my old win95 computer. I
want to install the damn thing on my WinXP home edition. I have the
original installation disks. What on earth do I do to set this scanner up?
I have tried everything including installing the damn thing on a win98
computer downloading the appropriate files from adaptec for win98. If the
scanner wasn't so expensive, I would simply buy a new one. I need step by
step instructions.
thanks in advance,
Michael McCarthy

I have the same scanner, on XP Pro. Yes, you need to install the ASPI -
there is a new one for XP. Adapted supplies it at its website - my file is
called "aspi_47a2.exe", and the install instructions are in a PDF file.
Nikon also has available a driver for WinXP at their website. Be sure you
have Firmware 1.31, then get and install NikonScan 3.1.2 for XP.
