GIGABYTE GV-RX195P256D-RH Radeon X1950PRO 256MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 Video Card - Retail

Hey guys,

Just passing on some info in case anyone is also interested. I've been waiting for this card since the x1950pro came out.

The price is great. $205.99, compared to ZZF who doesn't even have it in stock and set the price to $229.99. I am very happy, and can't wait to get this card! :D

Cheers,

yeah, if you factor that into the price of the card, it makes this card an amazing bang for the buck.

I've been waiting on this card because not only is it powerful and quiet, but I have to be picky about my card dimensions since my Antec Fusion case only has room for maybe a 5 inch in height video card.

Was contemplating getting the 8800GTS, but once I saw this pop up on newegg, I had to press the trigger.

I held out on the Sapphire version cause it definitely isn't gonna be as quiet as the Gigabyte, and they even threw in solid capacitors, and a free game, what's not to like? =)

The only problem (or not a problem, it depends on what you want) is that the Gigabyte card doesn't have the crypto rom chip which is needed to play protected HDCP content. Thats the reason I'm going for the PowerColor version of the 1950pro.
