Yeah i know the 680 is way too high, there's no way i would buy it. If someone does buy it for that much, well they got what they deserved less money. Most likely thought whoever buys it at that price was probably born with a gold pacifier on his/hers mouth, or makes so much money that is only change for them.
Quick question.....
Why buy the DFI version of the 680i motherboard with a 1 year warranty when the EVGA has a lifetime warranty? Does the DFI have more bells and whistles??

Their not the same motherboard, the DFI one is based on the ATi RD600 chipset that has yet to be released
I really hope that they come out with this Motherboard soon. I've been looking forward to seeing it's performance for months now. I bought an inexpensive placeholder for my E6300 for the time being, but would like to have something with which to overclock and doing some more serious processing on. Oh, and having some new component to fiddle with is never a bad thing either.
PS- Yes, I've been to XS and seen the specs on RD600 boards, but nothing is based on the official release which makes all the difference!
