1333 FSB on 965 chipset?

I've read that core2quadro cpus will be compatible with 965 and 975 chipsets, and that 975 supports 1333FSB. Does anyone know if 965 will also? Looking to buy a mobo but I want to buy one with a bit of longevity, so I can upgrade from E6600 someday.....

I don't think that either will officially support 1333fsb but we'll have to wait & see.

Saying that though, 1333 is only an actual of 333 isn't it, and practically all 965/975 boards can easily achieve that OC anywa, so I might just go ahead and buy one.

Very true. Thats why im getting RD600 no mattering is it offically supports 1333Mhz.
Nonetheless, Anandtech made a list of motherboards thatll work with Kentsfield 'oficially'.

It's not 100% though e.g. the Abit AW9D isn't on the list despite being probably the first board that announced support for Kentsfield.

It was included in the Anandtech list of C2Q motherboards. The list also included the AW9D-MAX, AB9 PRO and AB9 - four Abit MBs total.
