Hello.

At the following prices (in UK Pounds) which card would you say is the better value for money?

Sapphire X1950 XT 256MB: £182.13

MSI GeForce 7900GTO 512MB: £177.43

XFX 7900GT 256MB DUAL DVI VIVO: £175.66

Novatech GeForce 7900GT 256MB: £149.17

Sapphire X1950 Pro 256MB: £144.47

Novatech GeForce 7600GT 256MB: £92.83

So far theses prices don’t seem to have been impacted by the appearance of the GeForce 8800GTS at £358.38 and the GeForce 8800GTX at £493.50…

I thought the 7900GT at £149.17 might have been the sweet spot, so that shows what I know!

Dude check out Dabs.co.uk for the cheapest 8800GTS and GTX prices. £320 for a GTS and £400 GTX. Other than that yeah X1950 Pro is best bang for buck, or check out overclockers.co.uk for a £140 X1800XT (old technology but beats X1950 Pro) or a 256mb X1900XT for £170 ish
