One feature of Tom's Hardware that I really used to appreciate were the "VGA Charts" - the graphical side-by-side comparison of numerous modern 3D graphics accelerator cards. I always used to bookmark these as well as keep local copies of some of the charts in .GIF image format. I found them indespensible aids in comparing the performance of both older and newer video cards and using them to decide on my next purchase.
However, after checking the latest VGA Charts from 2006 onward I was dismayed to find that the entire format has changed... for the worse. No longer are these charts compact and able to fit on one or two pages. And instead of being presented in an image format they are encoded in the PHP of the web page. But what really bites is that there is no "Print" option at the bottom of the page! How in the world can we print a readable copy now, especially without wasting a bunch of paper?
I suppose some see this as having the benefit of allowing the reader to select the cards he/she wants to compare and then to a custom side-by-side comparison. But, personally, I do not find this useful at all. I tend to use several such charts at one time, each from a different benchmark, and try to make comparisons. I always appreciated the charts in .GIF image format as it made this rather easy.
May I suggest that you offer these charts as downloadable in PDF versions? Not only would this satisfy some of us who desire this capability, but it would also allow the charts to be printed out easily.
