ok im upgrading ,this is gonna sound like my upgrade needs a upgrade. i hace a celeron and a gf6600le agp. im getting the combo deal on newegg amd 3400 64 and a pcie mobo. what would be a video card that wouldnt bottle neck but have strong performance?next year i get a whole new rig so this is for a year. i play in 1024 x 768. i want some eycandy if possible. thanks :roll:

So long you've asked "have strong performance" and didn't mention on how much budget to spend then have you heard that those 8800 cards are released ? They have strong performance and won't be a bottleneck. Your CPU will be the bottleneck.

yeah im getting a new psu . my budget for the card is about 150-175.i got 1 gig of ram soon to have amd 64 3400 ecs mobo combo from newegg[ only 100 bucks] ill probally get a 500 watt psu ill shop around for that.i was thinking about a 7600 gt or maybe a 7900 gs or gt. i only game at 1024x768 so let me know. yeah i meant the cpu would bottleneck the card. im burnt out sorry 8)

That's a good price on the X1800GTO, AR.

You could also consider:

7900GS for $160 AR.

It's not as strong as the X1950Pro, but it is stronger that the 7600GT and theX1800GTO and the price is right in the middle.
