I have a core 2 duo e6600 with an asus p5 deluxe 1gb ddr2 800 and zalman s9500.

I am trying to overclock the cpu but once i reach about 3.00 i have my vcore at 1.425 and fsb at 1.4 and mch at 1.55.Ram is set to 1:1 ratio.Temps at load are in mid 40's.But whne i went up to 380 fsb my vcore was at 1.500 and my system was not stable.WHy?

I have to raise my vcore so much for a little overclock.

I didnt even pass the 400 fsb.

And accoring to this chart with a 1.500 vcore i should reach 3.6.And yes i know every system is diffrent but do i have something mabye set wrong.

Don't depend on BungholioMark 06 (credit goes to someone else for that name) to see if your OC is correct. Make sure it is prime stab;le, first and if you really do want to get the 3DMark score up to par, make sure that your vidoe card is clocked on par with your procesor. 3DMark is heavily GPU dependant.
