I would pick the DDR2-533. Running synchronously seems to work best for C2D. Only when you get to 800MHz, does the lower latency associated with running RAM that fast help overcome running async. GL

Is there no better memory around, my DDR2 800 runs with CAS3 and did not cost much more than the value memory...

Get CAS 3 DDR2 800. Is not much more expensive and is the best.

Err where is this Cheap CAS 3 800 mhz ram? the two I listed are the same about 195 after shipping for 2 GB. GSKill Cas 4 800 mhz ram is 240, and I don't even see any cas 3 stuff but I imagine its even more than that. Thast already 23% more.

Still if you can show me were this relatively inexpensive ram is I'd be willing to give it a look.

Most likely thell have the same potential. But pick the 667CL5 since thats a guaranteed 333Mhz. If you run at stock youll be able to get 4-4-4-xx timings tough.
