Important Vista Information
Yeah I know, no computer talk, just watch the video.
Lame.
I'd like to berate you for picking the wrong forum to post this, but apparantly now I can't....

Well I posted it on a Vista sticky but I thought I would get crap because of the words sh!t and A$$, so I removed it. They are a little tight on the other side.
I thought everyone could use a good laugh, I guess not.
I giggled
Take more meds.
Take a hike
* hands over sh*t *
Sorry, didn't have time to wrap it.

10 months with Vista and I've never had a blue screen or a crash.
*steals TV's meds*
I got booted out of BattleField 2 yesterday, but that's about the only thing I can report...
*boot to the head*
>thhhhhwump!<
*runs after KingLoftus with belt-fed nail gun demanding meds back*
VISTA: Viruses, Intruders, Spyware, Trojans, Adware. No thank you.
More seriously, Vista doesn't give me any problems whatsoever, simply because after that little farkstory with a DSL router, followed by the other farkstory with a brand-bloody-new printer, I won't allow it anywhere near any systems I have to work with.
Most of the systems at work are on 2000 anyway, apart from the embedded controllers (DOS/linux) and the XP-based systems in the office block. [/lucky me]
The only thing that I've had an issue with is my TV card, but it's not supported by Vista. Everything else went fine.
I saw this awhile ago..

I'm waiting to see if Vista gets the speed of XP with SP1 before I get it.... I'm loading XP Pro on my new build & still taking a wait & see attitude...
Replace any/all hardware older than about March 2007 and any/all technology older than about June 2006 before touching any form of Vista.
I'm sorry, I've just had far too much crap from Microsoft's latest, and being the holder of the local 'Help my PC isn't working!' phone number for friends/family doesn't help any.
i have to say i will probably upgrade when a dx10 card worth buying comes out, until then see no reason to buy a new OS since i do not need it's main feature.
Buy and OS???? WTF???

You play? I haven't played in almost a year, but I've been getting the itch to lately. Are there still plenty of people on the servers?

Haven't played online yet. I hadn't played much, so I'm just building my skills...
Building your skills..... LOL
The only way you build skills is playing against players... IMO....
I'm very skilled at playing with myself.
Well RC, I would agree with you, but I found a map that I have trouble with on the top setting, so I'm playing it a bunch to get better as well as get more familiar with the maps.
I usually play through a game 2 to 3 times before I'm ready to battle...
I haven't gamed on line in a long time though... I haven't had the machine to do it with.... I've got all the parts setting right here for my new gaming rig & haven't had the time to build yet... I built one machine for a client last weekend & yesterday I was burnt out for some reason & just didn't even touch them....
Oh, BTW Brown came through for me on Friday, at 12:30... I was glad that they got here.... Mighty fast!!!! I ordered on Wed. from Newegg at 10AM & the parts were here in just a tad over 48 hours.... Pretty amazing, really!!!!
Yeah, we're good like that, and NewEgg is good at getting things out on time.
game on!
*cough*FF is bettah*cough*
Phist Fcuk?
(seriously though, what game are you referring to?)
keeps true to the TFC / QTF feel...
I have to go buy the Orange Box and Supreme Commander soon...
Almost got some pink box today... Stupid phone call...

TF2 is just more fun. I played the original mod for Quake a LONG time ago, but also tried the whole Tribes genre and others that tried to do the class structure.
I think this is just fun because it is so bleeding simple.
that and it CAN be more complicated depending on the otehr players and how your team interacts. It is a HELL of a lot of fun when you get together with people you know.
And the mod community is already out, in force, making maps.
And JPJ, the Box Rox. If you do not have any of the games in it it is an outright steal.
HL2 is a lot of fun, Episodes 1 and 2 are great.
Portal is fun, dizzy-ing and funny as hell at the end.
TF2 is instant fun and a great team game.
have fun with it!
yeah ive played tf2 and i just enjoy F better, to each his own though
"Command Central" has been updated!!!!
No worries now, the world is safe once again......
*Nothing to look at here. carry on without a worry*
sweet!
NH - I've got HL2, but I haven't played it much. I should pick it up again and give it a go. I don't have any of the others, but I'm really looking forward to Portal!
DON'T GIVE ANYTHING AWAY!!!
lol
I loved the end credits, which is rare, because I usually skip or Alt F4.
P.S. I'm still alive.
