Say, here is a computer problem maybe you can scratch your head over. I recently upgraded my computer to a Athlon 64 processor, e-GeForce 7950 GT KO graphics card, and ASUS N2NPV-VM motherboard.
Now when playing Unreal Tournament, and sometimes other graphic intensive operations, my monitor goes blank on me for several seconds at a time. I played around with resolution settings, but it didn’t seem to make a difference. But adding an extension video cable onto the cable I normally use cured the problem, and the monitor no longer blanks out. However, I do get some ghosting with this arrangement.
Any thoughts?
