Ever since I started using the Detonator Drivers for my video card, I've had dual monitors....

Basically, when I installed the Detonators, Windows felt the need to detect an "Unknown Monitor" and install it. Is there anyway to turn this off?

have you tried another version below 12.41?? Do you have onboard video cuz it should be disabled if you do.

Yes, When I use older versions of the drivers (10.x and lower) this is not a problem. Video is NOT onboard, however, it is a 3D Prophet II MX (AGP).

Just seems strange to me that this would occur in the first place.

I have the same situation with my Prolink Geforce2 MX card. Windows detects two monitors.
I think this happens due to the twin view tecnology of MX cards.
But, anyway, it is not a problem since it doesn't affect the system performance.
