This topic has probably been beaten to death in here but i'm new to the forum. I've finally decided to take ATI over nVidia but I'd really like to get the new RD600 chipset rather than settle for a 975X. Anybody know when DFI is going to release theirs? I've heard that DFI is basically the only company who will be releasing one as well. Is this true? Thanks!

It has been listed there for while, i think the RD600 will be released the same way the 680I was, in January along with the R600.

I believe Nov 8th was one of the gossip dates. But ill keep on waiting.

I'm afraid it is accurate. I e-mailed DFI, and they confirmed that the board is coming out in December. They wouldn't specify the exact date, just the month.

In case anyone is interested, their 680i board will follow a month later.

I emailed them too (excellent customer service by the way) and I got December too. Its gonna be out by Christmas tough, wich is the last day I can wait.

AHHH this is BS but i guess i have to wait until decemeber. LOL it would be funny if they push the date again to jan. I'll be totally pissed and I wont forgive DFI for it.

what are you tryin to do dario? are you trying to build a rig based on the rd 600??? are you buying parts for the computer like me?

It seems like you are waiting desperately for the board. same as me.

I am going to be forced to be an early adopter. Some that no matter what youre buying, cant be good.
