I have a small LAN on which I had used the D-link DI-604 for several years but it is acting badly. What wired router is now recommended for a 3-computer LAN for speed and security?

Linksys or Dlink, off the shelf of a local store.

If you want wireless, go with something that has WPA, linksys or Dlink. Can't go wrong with either of the two.

My personal preference is Linksys.

And if Cisco rings a large bell then get linksys as Cisco owns Linksys now.
