Am trying to register on the site.

I have recieved an email with my username and email address, a link to register, and a message that I have less than 48hrs to register.

The link takes me to the registration form.. ??? which when I try to complete again informs me that the username is already in use.

If I try to login in, the box shows a green tick against username and password, then tells me the password is incorrect.

If I try "lost username/password" it ticks the email address, then "Sorry, but that email address has not been found in our database."

If I try the "havent received an activation email" it returns "Your account does not exist or is already validated. Either your account has already been validated or you have waited more than 48 hours after your registration to validate it."

If I try the quick post, I get "email is already in use" error!!!

Am logged in now under a username I dont want, with an email address I dont use... because the system is broken.

Please, can a site admin help!

Hey,

Can you private message me with your e-mail address? Then you can forward the e-mail you are getting to me.

I would do, but I think the forum software is broken!

Try this: do NOT have any auto-logon set in (eg browser remembering you password).

Click on a user's profile. Click on the PM link. Write a PM. Click on the submit button (the red one which is too small for the text it displays)
A registration box pops up.. not login, but registration. Click on the "already a user " link and login in.
Now what has happened to the submit PM button????

The page title is "create a new thread"....

Ok, so use back button to get back to user details, write again, press submit query.. and get "Done, with errors on page" message.. and then back to the same page but with no submit button.

Using IE6.... hardly a non-standard browser. But then, it doesn't work at all with Firefox!

Justin - can YOU PM me an email address so I can email you!

I found that for a period of time recently the "submit" button for PMs sent me to the country selection screen, and picking a country sent me to that localisation's home page instead. There seem to be a few bugs with it, although I haven't seen the one you're describing.
