I'm trying to make keychains out of the 486, Pentium (and PMMX), and K6 chips I have lying around. Unfortunately, they're not flip chip, and thus have hidden dies, so I want to take the cover off.
Of course, with the ceramic CPUs I could crack the CPUs open. That leads to cracked dies. Anyone know a method to open these processors without cracking the die?
