Which voltage for what?

Hi,

Just a question could someone explain what each voltage is used for throughout the computer, such as the 3,5 and 12V im just interested.

The CPU is NOT on the 12V. the green wire is the power switch; a power good signal is something different. Firewire uses 3.3V? I think you got some things confused there...
