I have just upgraded to SP2 on my laptop after a fresh reload. I have lost my home network connections. Instead of networking through the old broadband connection menu. I get the internet gateway icon now.
Do i have to have this because now that i am seeing it, i am not seeing by other computer.
I also put in a router/adsl modem. i had the network up and going after i started using the modem so i really dont think that that is the problem.

anyone know what i am doing wrong or know a internet site that will make since to me let me know

I figured out why i lost the network. I moved the computer to a new switch and thought that it would be ok to leave the static ip on it. but after reading everything i could for most of the day. i just tried something that no one said anything about in the articles.
