got all the latest drivers from Umax
what gives

SCSI Interface?

If so ... download and install the ASPI drivers from Adaptec's site.

ASPI software layer (download "Windows ASPI Package" )

Windows XP has a built in driver. You may have to remove any installed
software and start over from the begining. Disconnect the Scanner after
removing the software, plug in USB after scanner and XP are fully running.
