I was wondering, what is a good set of ram, 2x1gb, that would make around 3.5ghz or so on an e6600? I would like to keep it around 250, and would like to be able to maybe even go a little higher than 3.5, maybe closer to 3.8 if it is possible. I was looking at getting the Thermaltake Armor case(4x fan, and 25cm side fan) and a Tuniq Tower 120 to keep the case/processor cool.

I think any pair of pc6400 should reach 3500 on a 6600. The corsair XMS2 are a good deal although go with the cl4 if you can.

Thats an excellent kit. It will go alot higher than 3.8Ghz but the important thing is that its capable of keeping extremely low timings at ~3.5Ghz
The nvidia 500 chipsets are imposible for OCing. Either 680i or the P5B dlx

I have a thermaltake Armor. best investment I ever made I am running 3 raptors 1 x 120 gig HD, 2 gig OCZ 6400 DDR2 , E6600 clocked at 2.8 and a 7800 gtx extreme. My current cpu temp is 21 c, motherboard 23 c. does that answer your question :p
