Is it possible to do P2P traditional file sharing (i.e. NOT Simple File
Sharing) with users that have a blank password? I currently have this setup,
and am getting a permission error, which specifically says that there may be
a blank password problem. I would prefer not to force one more change on
people if I can avoid it. They have been doing Simple File Sharing ona P2P
network with no passwords for some time. Now I am moving them to P2P with a
dedicated Peer Server, a logical file structure and share naming convention,
and a single point backup proceedure.

Also, with WinXP on a P2P network, is it possible to
1: get rid of the Shared Documents folder? I can't even get rid of this
stupid thing when I am not on a network. In no case will anyone log in and
need to share files across users, and if I needed that, I would just make a
folder and share it to the Users Group, and be done.
2: make other users' Documents folders hidden? When logged in as me, I don't
need to see their My Documents folder. Indeed, for privacy reasons I would
think the default is you shouldn't see them.

Thanks,
Gordon
