Well, as I'm planning to buy a new system at the end of this year I was wondering if there are some very cheap alternative motherboards that can achieve the +/- same results as a Asus P5W DH Deluxe used in most overlocking tests. Personally I find this price a bit high and I was wondering if for example an ASRock ConRoe945G-DVI could come near that Asus board.
If not what other options do I have? Over 200 dollar is a lot of money for a motherboard that will have a cheap duo core. Hope someone has a solution to my problem....thx.

PS..new upcomming sytem?

It was reviewed by dailttech, or here I forget, but it beat out the Gigabyte S3, and these are both budget.

Gigabyte's S3 or DS3 are hard to beat for the money. Both boards have received excellent reviews.

The asus p5b-e is also a good OCer for a reasonable price.

I have my doubts if that will be a real stable overclocker.....

Cons: It has a problem OC'ing at anything other than a 1:1 FSB. I thought it was just my board or memory, but this is a widely reported problem. Hopefully, it will be fixed in an updated BIOS.
