Data Recovery Specialist

Data Recovery: What is your experience with data recovery companies. I have a friend who has a hard drive who is going to need to send the drive into a data recovery specialist company in order to get his data off of it. I wanted to know if anyone has had to do this, who they used, how much was it and was their experience a good one.

I sent Tomsmart one of my drives six months ago. It came back perfect, although my credit cards are now maxed. Odd.

Check these out. Grabbing one for the bar. I guess in Japan they can't be used for more than 3yrs so these expensive slots become worthless there. When trashed there's no difference between Japanese and English.
