Well, if you are going to do mild OC, even high OC, then get the S3.

Take the DS3 from GB, this board kicks ass in everything, stable, easy setup, no drivers problems. all great.

I would go with s3 or if i have extra money, i would go with ds3.

Are gigabyte MB's Reliable?

I've been told on numerous occations from PC builders, some PC stores and posts that there capacitors are known to fail well before other brands.

Have you heard of these cap problems or/and was it just a bad bunch of parts obtained by GB at one stage?

I beleive Asus aquired Giga-byte some time ago and all Gigabyte boards are built on Asus process lines, a clear indication of this is the heatpipes on the newer Giga-byte board's.

I'm working with gb boards for over 3 years now (also working with others of course), from my exp the GB boards r the once "coming back" much less then others.

including asus, abit, msi and other "big ones".

So yes, i find them very reliable, very easy to work with and almost never driver issues.
