I need a router/switch to allow two side-by-side computers in my home office to share my cable modem connection. Nothing big, nothing fancy, nothing wireless. Wal-Mart has a Linksys Network Everywhere 4-Port Router for something like $40, and there's a Wal-Mart between my home and work; has anybody used it successfully? I'd love to just pick it up on my way home if I can get a thumbs-up.

Thanks!

Linksys is owned by Cisco, very well known network company, if you dont know.
I have used a linksys at my friends house for like 4 years with no problems. Have also used a belkin 4 port with wireless with no problems.
Pick it up. I would for 40 bucks.

You may want to plan ahead. If you think you may be connecting Network printers, NAS, Servers .... May consider an 8 port. Most cases you can add the wireless for a few buck more it you stick with 4 ports. You can always turn off the wireless till you need it.
