As the title implies. Lots of folks have come into the gpu section asking this very question, what setup was used?
Might be good for clarification

Including software info such as OS and gfx driver version, which will vary from testing groups and has to be indicated. Catalyst/ForceWare revisions can contribute as much as 20% framerate difference for single-GPU (even more for multi-GPU) with the same hardware setup.

I think someone just forgot it this round, it used to be said at the start, then it came up when you hovered over a card, now nothing.

The only way to tell is to look up when it came out and then look to see the test setup being used in reviews at that time, toms like most sites AFAIK keeps one test setup as a reference for a period of time till it become obselete.

If you can find out what they were using at the time you can find out what it is.
