Several months ago my flash player quit working. Somehow it just up and disappeared...possibly by my own hand.
Anyway, I can't seem to install it from the Adobe site. I've tried doing it with AV and Zonealarm shut off and even tried to install it in safe mode and nothing seems to work.
Well, uninstall it... You might want to backup your registry before you start.... Then go to run & do a regedit.... Under software delete every flash player that you find.... Look at them all as they hide on you... After that, reboot & install the flash player.... It shouldn't complain then....

* Check “Add Remove Programs” and uninstall everything that smells of Flash (not flesh!) * Goto Adobe and grab Flash Uninstaller, close all open applications including Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, MSN Messenger and run it * Go to C:\WINDOWS\System32\Macromedia\Flash\ (or equivalent path for your Windows installation) and delete all .ocx files * Check if player is not included with other software titles. (one of those can be Adobe Bridge) Try to upgrade those applications first and hope for the best.
Now you are ready for a clean install of the latest version of Adobe Flash Player.
Then most importantly, read the stickies and choose the right forum.
Tried the uninstaller but did not do it with the registry edits...so I'll try that again.
Thanks for the help. Allow me to send you guys a sampler box of my latest product, "FART in-a-bottle". They make great gifts. Follow the included instructions carefully as the pleasure is in the decanting process.

ROTFLMFAO!!!!! *Now on to cleaning up the keyboard*
The silicon-based material is impervious to most anything including water, coffee and cleaning solutions.
How many times have you had to clean that damn keyboard now?

Imagine that.... Some guy with a spewing habit solved the keyboard problem....
I'll have to look into one of those.... I'd want to try it first though... Keyboard is an important part of gaming... I wouldn't want to screw up my timing...
I need a keyboard... I've beat this one I'm on to death & then some.... The number keypad is too sticky to use anymore.... The whole keyboard is more than well worn....

I don't want to know how that happened, but...
Throw that thing in the dishwasher for a few minutes sans heat/dry cycle. Let it dry for a day over one of your home heating registers.

I gave in and was at the mall at 5:55am yest for a store's 6am opening. Line was unbelievable. A deal on an air-hockey table I couldn't pass up though. At least I was back in the car at 6:11 and headed out of that mess... Fortunately we've been done with Xmas shopping for 2 weeks.
