I want to be able to use ALL my old stuff (6800OC AGP, 1gig PC2700, 350watt Enermax etc.) and just get a mobo and cpu. What is the most current/best motherboard that supports agp 8x and PC2700 (333mhz ram). Was looking at an Asus A7N8X, but not sure if there is something newer . . .

I'm thinking it may be a socket 754/Athlon 64 3700+

Thanks in advance.

I am currently running a 2.4 Ghz 3400+ venice 754 and I have a spare Biostar motherboard.

bought cpu and biostar mobo from newegg. They had a special about 2 months back.

I am currently looking to upgrade if i can sell both for a decent price. I would be willing to sell you the cpu for $60.00 plus $2.00 shipping. The only thing keeping it from being in original condition is: I lapped the aluminum surface of the cpu a little with 600 grit sand paper to get good contact between the heat sink and and cpu.

If you want to buy the biostar motherboard, let me know. I would be willing to sell for $25.00 plus whatever the shipping cost.

They are both in perfect working order and guaranteed against DOA.
