hard drives not being detected

I just put together my new comp:

Asus P5W-DH Deluxe
Core 2 Duo E6600
2 GB DDR2-800 corsair xms
eVGA 8800 GTX
OCZ 700W psu
(2) 250 GB Western Digital Caviar SATA

This is weird. I can see the hard drives in the BIOS and set them to Raid 0 but when I try just booting normal it gives me an error saying no drives detectable. I tried using the EZ-RAID ports and the regular SATA ports and no luck. I'm pretty sure the drives themselves are fine, you can hear and feel them spin when you turn the computer on.

Can anyone help me out? This is killing me, I want to get this comp up and running so bad lol.

Hey are you using F6 to install Sata\Raid drivers from floppy? If not then your are going to need to do so. If not, sorry for your time

No, I actually don't even have a floppy drive installed but I have a spare one I can connect.

But it's not RAID that's the problem, the EZ-RAID feature on the motherboard is supposed to work in raid with no drivers, all you have to do is move the jumper on the motherboard which I did. My problem is the hard drives not being detected...

Well the driver still needs to come from someplace and I'm not familar with how an XP insallation would pick of the driver. I guess to test, if i were you: do a test with F6 to specify the driver. If that works, then you know it's not your HDD.

Um pressing F6 doesn't do anything haha. I'm pretty sure the hard drives are fine, they're brand new from newegg and they both spin.
