I thought I saw somewhere in the latest nvidia drivers that there was drivers for a 8800gtx, 8800gts, and an 8800gt. Where is the 8800gt?

that's from nvidia's website! wherever you saw it it's a typo

There are more G80 cards coming, and you can more than count on one of them having the GT suffix.

The first driver for he G80 contained the 8800GT, removed afterwards, might come in ~jan-feb
