I have a p4 3.0 ghz intel processor, nvidia 7900gs pci-e vido card and 4 x 512mb sticks of ddr 400 pc 3200 184 pin ram. Anyone know of a MB that supports those? Been looking on Newegg but a lot of specs are confusing me, I honestly have no idea what Im looking for.

You need to be looking at a 775 Socket board with DDR400 (3200) support and a PCI-E slot.

If you can give some info about your budget limit i'm sure u'll get some recommendations.

I dont really have a budget limit. Under $200 would be nice but really any price is fine with me as long as its compatible.

I dont know about that one, how do I check? I bought the system off Ebay and has been working fine. The problem I ran into is I just bought the nvidia 7900gs video card without realizing it's a PCI-E card and my MB has a AGP slot instead. The manual for the MB says its a 875P MS-6758 ATX Mainboard, manufactured by MSI.

Well you have a problem then. You have a socket 478 chip according to MSI's web sight. So here is your only option.

I don't think this board is what you are looking for. It does not support Pentium 4 processors. Instead, it is designed for Core Duo and Core Solo processors. If you get this board it will just be one more piece of hardware that you will not be able to use.

Based on what you said above, you need socket 478. I'm not sure if there were any boards designed for you CPU while still having PCIe. I tried looking because I have one of those P4 AGP systems but I could never find a motherboard that would work. You are probably either going to have to dump the motherboard RAM and CPU or forget about PCIe on that system.

On the positive side, your P4 will probably overclock pretty well though.
