If I have an E6300 with a mild OC at stock voltage and I enable Speedstep in the BIOS, under full load (FAH, Prime95, etc) my system will still run at the overclocked rate, right? What about voltages? If I boost voltage to increase OC and enable Speedstep I'll still be at my full voltage and speed under full load, right?

I prefer to leave my PC on 24/7 and don't need the heat/wear and tear/electricity bill of an OC'd processor sitting idle at 3.2Ghz.

If you set everything up right, SpeedStep and C1E should still work, as long as you left everything (voltages) on auto.

To be more precise, if you overclocked your CPU by touching the BUS speed, you should be ok. Worked for my P5W DH Deluxe motherboard.

I still have my PPro

yeap! with the right ram (ddr2 800 with CAS 4 mikron chipset module) and motherboard chipset (p965), you can reach 50% oc. easily with c2d e6300.

there's an article in the xbitlabs.com which said that the 680i chipset could easily be overclocked to 400mhz. it could reach more when the bios is fully optimized, so to speak.
