hi i put a new D: drive and new windows xp sp2 on my comp the other day. Then my f: drive could not be found in windows explorer. its a 320 gig WD IDe drive. I found the following info with partition magic. can anyone give me a clue as to what is wrong and what I should do to fix it? thank you

HI TOOK: looks like you need to fdisk big time,the partition table on that disk/partition is completely snafu'd,and seems to go beyond the drives logical/real boundarys ,hope you did not loose too much......

Try Active-Undelete (Google for it). I've had great sucess with it in recovering "lost" partitions both at home and with my customers. Its not free but I have found it well worth it.

Edit: I gave the wrong program. Active Partition Recovery is the one I meant. I do use the Active-Undelete also.
