Heat Build Up ?

I instaled my new x1950pro last night and I absoutley loved it, but about 10 minutes ago I was playing Company Of Heros and parts of the map started going black then the whole screen went black. Could this be heat building up or just a bad card. The card is not overclocked at all.

Have you tried any other games? Do you have a temp monitoring program that you can give us your temps? Tried any other drivers?

Being that you said it slowly started doing this, I think it is heat related as you do. What case do you have and what sort of airflow? With these questions answered, it should be easy to diagnose.

I have an aspire case with 2 fans one blowing out the back and the other blowing in from the top. The Gpu is running about 35c idle and the hottest its gotten that I know of is 79c no I havent tried any other games but I played the game before I got this card and never had this problem. I just instaled the 6.11 drivers from ati. I havent ran the game since i instaled the new drivers.
