will quadro work with some of the current motherboards?

im looking to buy a e6600 and then just upgrade later to a quadro but keep the same motherboard, will the motherboards that support the e6600 also suport the quadro?

Just check the specifications of the motherboards

Some board support both core 2 duo and core 2 quadro

Some I think support just core 2 duo

An example, the ASUS P5B and P5W support core 2 duo and quadro as well, so you will be able to upgrade later
