SysFader Error message ???

Did a search and you are not the only one having this problem. There are

First eliminate any scumware.
CAUTION!!!!! Before you try to remove spyware using any of these programs ,
download a copy of LSPFIX from any of the following sites:
http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.htm
http://www.spychecker.com/program/winsockxpfix.html
(if your OS is Win2k or XP) The process of removing certain malware may kill
your internet connection. If this should occur, this program, LSPFIX, will
enable you to regain your connection.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated with the program's update function
before every use, even when just downloaded. There's also a lot more to do

I've found the solution : the problem was a spyware removed by Ad Aware (not
by Spybot S&D, it is weird, isn't it ?).

So now everything is quite good !

Thanks for posting back about this. I don't know if you read the threads
available on Google. Several possible sources were cited for sysfader:
windows ( in Win2000 for sure, XP inconclusively identified as an internal
process), creative lab soundcard software and a trojan. Now we "get" to add
"spyware" to that list.

That AdAware caught it and Spybot didn't isn't really a minus for Spybot.
These intrusions evolve so quickly that updated definitions are always
being released for both products. AdAware may be ahead of Spybot on this
one but it's most likely that there is a flip side (Spybot ahead of Adware
for something else). The constant development of these programs is why it's
good to check the system with a few different tools.
