What do u guys think of my next monster gaming machine?

well, this is my gaming machine i have configure. Will start ordering all hardware next week, hopefully i could get this processor over clock up to 3.2 or 3.5 range. i thnk pc is still much cheaper than an alienware in price, for what it has.

I think it fits the term monster perfectly, however... I would skimp out on the C2Q, get a e6600, and then when native quad-cores come out, jump on those. Games can't use 4 cores yet, so save the money now and wait for the software to catch up. By then, next-gen quad-cores will be out and it should promise to be much better than the current offering.

Yeah, I think that will about do it. Just so you know though, that Apple 30" HD Cinema Display has a 16ms response time.

Overall, beautiful system.

Overall good system.


But going Quad may be an overkill if gaming is the primary reason for the rig. Just my $0.02.
