bios wont come up after hdd install

installed 160gb wd no bios unplugged new hdd still wont boot power on did i loose cmos? should i clear cmos data?

Try to clear it out, but does your PSU still power on. I would suspect the PSU popped.

thanks will check PSU again itys working but didnt check all voltages and leads then clear
