I have the processor, and am looking to see what motherboard it might run most stable on. Video card currently is 1X 7600GT, and I may get a second to run SLI, still pondering that.

Any motherboards that I should avoid, or might come recommended?

Thanks- Bruce.

depending upon budget Abit's KN8 SLI & AN8 32X are very good boards in their respective price ranges.

I agree completely. I have abit an8 ( an8 32x is the most resent version and it supports sli, mine, an8, doesn't) and went from 3000+ to x2 3800+ some time ago and oc'ed it a bit ( to a x2 4200+ level) and it's stable as hell.

Thanks for the replies.
"I agree, PCworld did a review on the A8n32-SLI deluxe and it turned out to be the best motherboard for stability, especially gaming and overclcoking

I've treid the A8N32-SLI, and I'm getting crashes when maxing performance in games. But it could be soimething else, will be putting a new PSU into the rig this weekend.

upgrade cpu too then

Ouch- that's a lot to spend when I already have the 4800+ :)

Thanks- Bruce.
