Is Zalman CNPS7700-Cu ok for AMD x2 4600+

Hi all,

I'm planning to upgrade my AMD Athlon 3500+ to an AMD x2 4600+. I have a Zalman CNPS7700-Cu cooler and I wonder if this is sufficent for the AMD x2 4600+, I do not plan on overclocking.

If you don't plan on overclocking then the stock heatsink would be fine.

I would put the zalman on though as some reviews show it reducing the temps by a few degrees

i had one for my 4800+ and i wasnt happy with it...the stock hsf that came with my processor worked better.
