I am in the process of upgrading my video card from an EVGA 6800gs superclock to an EVGA 7900GS KO. My favorite game that I like to play right now is Titan quest, so I was looking at the VGA charts to see what kind of frame rates I might expect.

The problem is, my usual framerates with my 6800GS are better than most of the obviously superior cards listed on the benchmark, with my CPU being slower than the one cited in the benchmark test (I have a 3700+ San Diego).

Is there any way to get more information about how they actually performed their benchmark? All I can see is that they used FRAPS in-game. It would be nice to know what section of the game they did their benchmark.

Any way to find out more?
