What is the difference between the upgrade and full versions of Win2k pro. Also, how can you tell what version you have, simply by looking at the contents of the CD.

There is no difference between the full and upgrade version, except the upgrade version will search for full version components of another Win9x/NT/Me OS version before it will unlock and then install the full version.

The Upgrade version assumes that you have a previous version of Windows, either installed, or with disc at hand.
