Is 9714 marks good for my system.

Asus p5b deluxe
c2d e6600
x1950pro
1gb pc6400 ram

My laptop scored 6600 marks with

Pentium-M - 2hgz
1Gb ram
go7800gtx

I think by comparing with people who have similar computers I can find out if mine is bottlenecking or just about right..

Thanks in advance :)

I re-ran 05 and got 10224 near enough.

I then ran 3dmark 06 and got 4975 marks.

This isn't normal is it?

IMHO your scores should be a lot closer to CompuTronix's than they are, what you need to do now is badger CompuTronix for some more info on rig setup, I'd like to help if I can but being an AMD/Nvidia user my knowledge of your setup is to little to be of much use :(

Comps CPU is OC'd to 3.7ghz and his GPU is overclocked as well he's running raptors and has a gig more ram...can't really draw a firm comparison with the OP's rig until he provides more information on what he's doing....is he running stock? is he over clocking?

Yeah his are OC'd.

It seems mine are just about right in all honesty. I few tweaks here and there may get some more points, though should be okay!

Your score looks fine.

Compu's sig shows an X1900XT, yours is 1950PRO. Different cards = different scores ;)

While the specifications for the X1950 Pro GPU are impressive, HIS goes beyond all this by running their cards at much faster clock speeds. The benchmarks clearly show that the HIS X1950 Pro is better than both the Radeon X1900 GT and the Nvidia 7900 GT. Had it not been for HIS’ extra clock speeds, the marginal difference would surely be smaller.

It just strikes me as odd that if C2D is new and an X1950 Pro is better than the Nvidia 7900 GT then Supergoal should have a higher score than an AMD 3800x2 939/7900GT.
